Agro Vyšehořovice has purchased the second Diskomat cultivator, adding another modern machine to their Farmet fleet (Kompaktomat K 800 PS and K 1000 PS, Hurikán cultivator, and Digger chisel plough). Diskomat 8 PS with a width of 8 m is a heavy stubble cultivator with a massive frame, 62cm discs and spring protection. They aggregate Diskomat with MF 380 HP.
They are currently using their new Diskomat for corn stubble field cultivation at a depth of 14 cm. The stubble cultivation will only be done once due to the extremely dry and hard soil. It basically traces the corn rows due to ridges created after weeding with fertiliser application.
The task of Diskomat is to loosen soil as much as possible, to even out the rows after the weeder, and to level the surface. Another operation will take place before the winter crops are planted, either with Diskomat or Digger, and then the seedbed cultivators will run.
