Being a member of the AOCS society, the Farmet company participated for the second time in the society´s Annual Meeting, being held in St. Louis this time. This event is regarded to be world most significant meeting of professionals from science, R&D and industrial praxis in the branch of oilseed processing. At the meeting, new trends in oilseed processing were being discussed. The Farmet company presented itself by a booth as well as by a paper in the expert programme, titled “Influences of Soybean Thermal Processing on Cake Digestibility in Hexane-Free Soybean Processing Technology by Pressing”. We further participated in many professional discussions at the topic of oilseed processing and we can say that there is a lot we have to offer in this area. Our complex approach to oilseed processing is what makes difference between us and other equipment manufacturers and which is out greatest competitive advantage.
