The conditioner FK 250 is our conditioner of the medium performance category; it is optimized for use with the extruder FE 250. The conditioner has all the benefits of the series and exhibits a high efficiency of heat exchange and moistening rate up to the desired values of temperature and moisture. This is feasible thanks the optimized design and the sophisticated control system. Our conditioners stand out with their low demands on service and maintenance, long service life and easy operation.
The conditioner is designed for a direct steam injection, which causes moistening, but also, due to rapid steam condensation, intense heating of the material. The material is stirred and gradually moved towards the discharge via a system of blades with adjustable geometry.
The equipment consists of a shaft with blades, a drive, a housing (not insulated), and a system for steam injection.
The conditioner FK 250 is intended for small capacities and reaches a performance of about 12 tons per day. The design routinely meets EU wiring specifications; however, it can be adjusted to wiring requirements from local markets (e.g. USA, Canada, etc.).
