Subsoiler Digger

Technology

Subsoiler Digger

1 Deep loosening zone and mixing of crop residues. Loosening depth 9.75"─18.75". The special shape of loosening tines provides excellent penetration into the heavily compacted soils with very low traction resistance. The tines are in two rows. In extreme conditions, only one row of tines can be used to reduce traction resistance.
2 Wave-leveling zone. Leveling disks also increase the effect of incorporating plant residues.
3 Lump crushing soil compaction zone. Optimum soil reconsolidation ensures good infiltration and soil moisture rise.

Fertilizer placement

The fertilizer is placed under the surface into processed soil profile in two horizons.

High performance

  • The new tine design has a very low traction resistance and enables a high working speed up to 8 mph.
  • Tines smoothly penetrate the soil and the soil is loosened without mixing it with subsoil layer, so-called biologically inactive soil.
  • Possibility of lifting one row of the tines under extreme conditions such as marshes, headlands or when plowing roads after harvest.
  • Two rows of tines provide a very good stability of the machine and precise depth guiding without the need to use gauge wheels. The high frame clearance of 2' 6" provides excellent trash flow.

Robust design

  • High-strength refined materials used for crucial nodes to ensure long service life.
  • Strongly dimensioned compact and carried frame.
  • The chisels are equipped with carbide plates for long service life.
Protection of tines
The tines are hydraulically protected by a release force at the tip of 2,425 lb. or you can choose the configuration with mechanical protection.
Mechanical protection of tines
Version with mechanical tine protection – the safety segment breaks in case of too high resistance.
Prolonged service life of chisels
The tips of chisels are equipped with carbide plates for long service life, low wear and tear to maintain optimum geometry.
Leveling disks
The leveling disks direct the processed soil in front of the rear spiked rollers and at the same time provide precise furrow leveling.
Roller
The rear double spiked roller for fine clods crushing maintains the quality of the soil as in the pre-sowing preparation in minimizing technologies or as the primary fall soil tillage for spring crops.
Chisels
The chisels with wings incorporate plant residues very well and the leveling disks together with the double spiked roller perfectly level furrows.

Easy operation

Due to minimum of adjusting points, the operation and subsequent maintenance are very easy steps that anybody can perform.

Depth setting
Easy working depth setting by demarcation washers. In the working position, the machine leans against the rear double spiked roller.
Disks height setting
The height of the leveling discs is set automatically using a parallelogram of the rear roller attachment. The handles for mechanical setting are used for precise tuning.
Hydraulic control of disks
To increase comfort of operator, the machine can be equipped with hydraulic control of the leveling disks. (optional)
Setting of the down pressure
Simple mechanical setting of the down pressure of the first row of the double spiked roller. The down pressure regulates the intensity of clods crushing. The roller is equipped with maintenance-free bearings with high level of covering.
Slight lifting of tines
For locally more compacted soils the front row of tines can be lifted a little bit and thus the machine traction resistance can be temporarily lowered. The slight lifting of tines is advantageous also for simple cleaning of the space among tines.
Position of wings
The vertical position of wings can be adjusted in three positions and thus obtain optimum incorporation of crop residues for various depths of loosening.
Side deflectors
For more precise connection between each passes the machine can be equipped with side deflectors with adjustable height that automatically follow the contour of the field.
Ball valves
For easier disconnection of hydraulic circuits of tines protection, these circuits are equipped with ball valves when the machine is disconnected and stored.

Proper selection of the type of the rear roller contributing significantly to the final quality of the tillage is very important. The soil is reconsolidated by the roller and then it is the same way crumbled and leveled. The selection of the type of the roller depends on the soil type and on the manner of use of the machine.
