The Falcon modular seed drill equipped with a disc pre-processing section and additional fertilization with disc applicators has started working in the north of Europe. The machine is also equipped with Micro Drill – a system for sowing small seeds. The highly compact set with the working width of 6 meters achieves an output of up to 9 ha/h. In a single pass, Falcon processes soil to the depth of the seedbed, applies fertilizer, compacts soil and sows both the main crop and the underseed. The photographs show establishing a mixed vegetation of peas and oats with caraway as underseed. The peas and oats are the cover crop for the caraway and they were sown independently at different depths with various seed batches. Each crop requires different sowing conditions. Independent sowing of two main crops is a unique property of the Falcon modular seed drill.
