The cultivation of these crops is a key component of French agriculture, contributing to its diversity and economic stability. In addition to these main oilseeds, other less common crops are also grown in France for oil production, serving various purposes including food, cosmetics, and industrial applications.
Our company, Farmet, is currently delivering a physical refining technology for vegetable oils (a technology without any chemicals) with a capacity of 2.5 tons of oil per hour to one of the largest oilseed processors in France.
This technology was designed by our experienced team of engineers and designers. Since it is a food-grade technology, it was manufactured at a state-of-the-art stainless steel facility at Farmet.
Thanks to the delivery of this physical refining technology, the customer will no longer need to transport the oil elsewhere for refining and then back to the plant, thereby saving considerable transportation costs.
Additionally, our customer will have full control over all quality parameters of the final oil. The resulting bio-oil will be of high quality and a highly marketable commodity.
