Subsoiler Digger

Technology

Subsoiler Digger

1 Deep loosening zone and mixing of crop residues. Loosening depth 25–50 cm. The special shape of loosening tines provides excellent penetration into the heavily compacted soils with very low pulling requirement. The tines are in two rows. In extreme conditions, only one row of tines can be used to reduce pulling requirement.
2 Furrow-levelling zone. Levelling discs also increase the effect of incorporating crop residues.
3 Clod crumbling soil compaction zone. Optimum soil re-compaction ensures good infiltration and soil water capillarity to the surface.

Fertiliser placement

The fertiliser is placed under the surface into processed soil profile in two horizons.

High performance

  • The new tine design has a very low pulling requirement and enables a high working speed up to 12 km/h.
  • Tines smoothly penetrate the soil and the soil is loosened without mixing it with subsoil layer, so-called biologically inactive soil.
  • Possibility of lifting one row of tines under difficult conditions such as marshes, headlands or when ploughing roads after harvest.
  • Two rows of tines provide a very good stability of the machine and precise depth guiding without the need to use depth wheels. The high frame clearance of 750 mm provides excellent throughflow.

Robust design

  • High-strength refined materials used for crucial nodes to ensure long service life.
  • Strongly dimensioned compact and carried frame.
  • The chisels are equipped with carbide plates for long service life.

Protection of tines
The tines are hydraulically protected by a release force at the tip of 1,100 kg or you can choose the version with mechanical protection.
Mechanical protection of tines
Version with mechanical tine protection – in case of too high resistance, the protection segment will be cut
Prolonged service life of chisels
The tips of chisels are equipped with carbide plates for long service life, low wear and to maintain optimum geometry.
Levelling discs
The levelling discs direct the processed soil in front of the rear spiked rollers and at the same time provide precise furrow levelling.
Roller
The rear double spiked roller for fine clods crumbling maintains the quality of the soil as in the pre-sowing preparation in minimizing technologies or as the primary autumn tillage for spring crops.
Chisels
The chisels with wings incorporate crop residues very well and the levelling discs together with the double spiked roller perfectly level furrows.

Easy operation

Due to minimum of adjusting points, the operation and subsequent maintenance are very easy steps that anybody can perform.

Setting the depth
Easy working depth setting by setting washers. In the working position, the machine rests leans against the rear double spiked roller.
Setting the discs’ height
Simple mechanical setting the down pressure of the first row of the double spiked roller. The down pressure regulates the intensity of clods crumbling. The roller is equipped with maintenance-free bearings with high level of covering.
Hydraulic control of discs
To increase comfort of operator, the machine can be equipped with hydraulic control of the levelling discs. (optional)
Setting of the down pressure
Simple mechanical setting of the down pressure of the first row of the double spiked roller. The down pressure regulates the intensity of clods crumbling. The roller is equipped with maintenance-free bearings with high level of covering.
Slight lifting of tines
For locally more compacted soils the front row of tines can be lifted a little bit and thus the machine pulling requirement can be temporarily lowered. The slight lifting of tines is advantageous also for simple cleaning of the space among tines.
Position of wings
The vertical position of wings can be adjusted in three positions and thus obtain optimum incorporation of crop residues for various depths of loosening..
Side deflectors
For more precise connection between each passes the machine can be equipped with side deflectors with adjustable height that automatically follow the contour of the fieldcopy the terrain.
Ball valves
For easier disconnection of hydraulic circuits of tines protection, these circuits are equipped with ball valves when the machine is disconnected and stored.

Proper selection of the type of the rear roller contributing significantly to the final quality of the tillage is very important. The soil is recompacted by the roller and then it is the same way crumbled and levelled. The selection of the type of the roller depends on the soil type and on the manner of use of the machine.
