The plate filter, where the process of vegetable oil filtration takes place, consists of stainless steel front plates, stainless steel filtration frames, guide pivots, a crosspiece, and a central screw with an operating wheel and a drainage bowl.
In between the frames, filter cloths are inserted. Filter cloths come in different mesh sizes corresponding to desired purity of the filtrate. As the liquid passes through, the cloths collect the impurities.
