From May 29 to 31st, 2018 4th international conference "World Soy - Feeds" took place in Saint Peterburg, Russia.
Soy is a very important agricultural crop in the world with a wide range of use and constantly increasing social and economic value. This crop is a source of both protein and vegetable oil. Large amount of pharmaceutical preparations containing soy also show the great importance of soy.
This exceptional crop is also highly valued in feed business as it is a part of livestock feed.
The "World Soy - Feeds" Conference has become a tradition and, thanks to its importance, attracts more and more attention to the professional public every year. This year's event was attended by 300 representatives of major industrial and agricultural companies from more than 15 countries worldwide.
Our company Farmet a.s. participates in this annual konference regularly - this year as a partner with an expert presentation by Mr. Pugachev (Director of the subsidiary company OOO Farmet in Moscow) on Ecological processing of large volumes of hexane-free soy. The performance was very well received. As a result, representatives of our company discussed the possibility of construction of several plants for ecological processing of soya with heat recovery with potential customers from various regions of Russia.
