OFT division of Farmet a.s. took part in the June XXVI International Scientific Conference - Progress in Technology of Vegetable Fats held near Łódź, Poland.
We supported the international meeting to the fullest and, for a Czech company, we invited all participants to an immediate transfer from Poland to the Slovak-Hungarian border where, thanks to virtual reality, we visited our biggest realization of the past year and step by step went through our soybean processing pressing shop with a capacity of 200 tons of seed per day.
The presentation got a very positive response among both new and existing clients. We have brought some interesting demands and new contacts. The experience was remembered by all renowned, well-known and newly-born companies, our long-term and potential customers as well as university scientists and professors. At the very end of the presentation, when it was time for questions, a very interesting discussion unfolded. The entire presentation was carried out in the spirit of Hexane free processing of oilseeds.
Certainly, we demonstrated the strength of a modern modern society in front of such giant such as the world leader in the field of oil crops and the world's largest producer of vegetable oils - the Bunge Limited Group, and therefore strengthened our position among suppliers of oil seed processing technology with global reach.
