At the Agritechnica Hannover fair, the company Farmet presented a new generation of multirow share breaker-up and cultivator Fantom PRO 1250. The new cultivator is a 5-row machine designed for shallow and deeper soil processing, i.e. for fast stubble breaking and for cultivation with intensive mixing up to the depth of 15 cm. The machine is intended for aggregation with tractors with the power of 550–650 PS. Due to its conception and high number of shares, it is ideal for pre-sowing preparation. Fantom can be equipped with front flexi-board which further increases the levelling effect during the work.
Fantom PRO 1250 is designed both for operation with rear compaction rollers and without them. Precise depth guidance of the machine during operation is ensured by 10 tracing wheels with hydraulic setting of the working depth. The main advantage of Fantom PRO series is a capability of continuous change of the working depth directly from the tractor cabin. The rear roller can be simply disassembled or its thrust on the soil can be adjusted according to the needs. For quick disassembly, the hinges of the rollers are equipped with quick clamping systems. The rear roller can also be replaced by the section with flexi-board and bar harrows, e.g. for spring pre-sowing preparation. Fantom PRO has a high framework clearance of 660 mm and it is very resistant against overload with high soil passability even in wet conditions. The transport width does not exceed 3 m and the maximum transport height is 4 m. The machine is very versatile with high performance up to 15 ha/hour.
