Micro drill is a sowing unit designed for sowing of catch crops or for direct sowing of grasses. The sowing unit can be mounted on different types of Farmet machines with the working span from 2.1 to 12 metres depending on the used type of fan. The fan type is always selected according to machine span in combination with the planned type of the seed that will be used predominantly. The hopper with volume of 200 litres easily accessible thanks to the smart design.

Dosage of seeds
The seed is dosed using the sowing shaft located directly under the hopper. Prior to filling the hopper with the seed, a proper sowing shaft must be selected (coarse, fine). The proper selection is performed according to the seed properties and according to the delivered amount. The standard equipment of the machine includes two types of rollers – for fine seed (mustard, buckwheat) and for coarse seed (cereals, grass).

The sowing unit is controlled by the control unit 5.2 which is provided in the standard equipment. The control module is fully adapted to additional accessories of the machine – optional sensory equipment.
