On 19 and 20 March 2018, Farmet hosted an intensive workshop focused on new technologies and latest novelties in the production programme, attended by a large group of sales representatives and service technicians from all over Russia, including Siberia. Russia is one of our most important export destinations. Farmet machines work both in the European and Asian part of Russia regardless of the differences in weather, vegetation and soil conditions. Local customers appreciate the high reliability, low maintenance demands, and simplicity of the control of our machines.
The first day of the workshop was dedicated to technical information and innovations of machines for soil cultivation and seeding. The workshop participants had the opportunity to put the newly acquired knowledge to practice on the displayed machines. They were both new machines, which were used for demonstrating the presented novelties, and used machines, which were prepared for active demonstrations in the field when the weather was favourable.
The second day focused only on new technologies of differentiated soil cultivation and incorporation of granulated fertilisers (Digger Fert+, Fertis, Strip-Till), as well as oil seed rape using Falcon PRO Strip, which is appreciated in Russia for its modularity and high capacity. The Russian colleagues were also acquainted with the anticipated novelties of the year – the Terrix and Triton machines for soil cultivation. The workshop ended with a tour of the production plant and the participants were very pleased to be able to look into our development centre where they could also try out the virtual reality used for designing new machines.
After the intensive two-day workshop, our Russian colleagues returned to their distant homeland filled with new knowledge and experience that they will pass onto Russian customers.
