We visited a farm in Kozlany, owned by Mr. Kopřiva, who launched the new Softer 11 with the optional large discs with a diameter of 560 mm.
“Softer will be mostly used for fast, shallow post-harvest stubble cultivation in a depth of 3 – 4 cm, after cereal and oil seed rape. Then, it will also be used in the spring soil cultivation for greening“, Mr. Kopřiva says.
Mr. Kopřiva especially values the high output of Softer: he has processed 78 hectares a day in his soil conditions at the working speed of 13 – 14 km/h. He also appreciates the easy operation and quality of work. He uses New Holland with the power of 360 horses for pulling.
We were also interested in the opinion of the puling vehicle operator. Mr. Pavlík told us the following:
“I enjoy working with Softer, it does a great job and it surprised me a lot. Softer 11 surprised me with its output and soil processing. As an operator, I set up the machine before starting work and then I can control everything else without stopping the tractor. Softer 11 is a good machine, I’m happy with it.”
Softer 11 PS is the third Farmet machine after Hurikán and Digger that the farm owns. The Digger cultivator replaced conventional ploughing technology.
