One-level pressing with extrusion is a technology specially developed for processing soybeans. A combination of extrusion and subsequent expression will enable you to obtain press cakes of highest quality. Pressing the oil immediately after extrusion is highly effective and leads to minimal leftover fat.
Reducing the amount of anti-nutritional substances found in soybeans as well as increasing that of bypass proteins, in order to maximize the energetic value of the feed, is an easy job for our extruders. Extrusion is also an ideal way of pre-treating the seeds before the pressing itself. Indeed, a combination of mechanical and heat treatment better than extrusion can hardly be found. Material treated in this way is then efficiently processed in the presses, resulting in a high oil yield.

The sequence starts with a temporary container capable of supplying seeds for several hours of operation. For operation in winter times, when seeds could potentially be exposed to temperatures below 15 °C, we recommend adding technology for temperature stabilization. Seeds are transported from the container continuously into the extruder. At this stage, we suggest including equipment for seed cleaning.
It is also possible to supplement the technology with weighing equipment at entry, or hulling and hull separation. Before extrusion, it is convenient to grind the seeds with a grinder, which will break up the seed structure, allowing easier passage through the extruder.
Extruded material is transported on a conveyor into the press. The conveyor is open to allow the steam, released after extrusion, to evaporate away. Due to a high amount of steam released, our offer comes with an extraction device that removes most of the steam coming from the extruder outlet.
Seeds altered in this way are then compressed in the expeller press and oil emerges through the outlet slits. This oil still contains some impurities (solids) and has to be further processed in separation and filtration.
